'A waste' January 2017.

 

'A waste' is a paper installation made using collected offcuts from guillotined printed photographs and scrap paper from the process of creating my sketchbooks during my foundation year. The work was installed in the Central Saint Martin's Archway building and has varying dimensions. Being installed in an art school context and through the title, the work aims to play ironically with the common societal suggestion of arts education being a 'waste of time' or 'waste of money'.
